What kind of properties can be listed?

We work with villas, private homes, and boutique resorts that have a story to tell—places that are thoughtfully designed, rooted in nature, and offer guests a sense of stillness and belonging. Whether it’s a hillside retreat, a forest cabin, or a heritage home, we look for properties that feel personal and in harmony with their surroundings.

How soon can my property go live?

Once the audit is successful, the property can go live within 30-45 days.

Who handles guest management and bookings?

At The Almanac, we offer full-stack hospitality solutions, taking care of everything from guest reservations to on-ground support. Our expert in-house team manages your bookings, guest communication, and day-to-day needs—so you can enjoy the benefits of ownership without the operational hassles.

What support do you offer for daily operations?

We take care of the day-to-day running of your property—from managing housekeeping and maintenance to overseeing guest check-ins and ensuring your space is guest-ready at all times. Our team works behind the scenes to deliver smooth operations, so you can stay hands-off while your property operates professionally.

Can I block dates for personal stays?

Yes, absolutely. Your property remains yours. We’ll happily block dates whenever you wish to use it personally, and ensure it’s guest-ready for your arrival, provided that you honour any existing guest bookings on the calendar. We do recommend limiting personal blocks during peak seasons to maximize your earning potential.

How do you ensure property safety and maintenance?

Every property under Almanac care is looked after by our trained caretakers who manage daily upkeep with diligence. We conduct regular audits to ensure everything is safe, secure, and in excellent condition. Along with carefully vetting every guest before a booking, this gives you complete peace of mind that your property is always protected and well maintained.

What happens if my property doesn’t meet your selection criteria?

If a property doesn’t meet our selection criteria, we don’t just walk away. We share clear feedback and, where possible, suggest design, operational, or safety improvements that can bring it up to Almanac standards. Many owners choose to partner with us on upgrades, so together we can transform the space into something guests will love.
